Even now, when digital electronics play such a vital role, it is essential to have expertise in analogue electronics. Although digital circuitry is normally the most important part of most designs, it is also necessary to design signal conditioning circuits such as amplifiers, filters, power control, protection circuits, etc.
In this example we adapted the audio signal inputs and outputs, determining the levels and unipolar format awaiting the audio codecs and providing 1500V galvanic isolation.
Another example is this adaptation of IEPE sensors to an ADC. In this case the adaptation is performed on an additional PCB, which is soldered onto the main board via pads. This solution makes it possible to modify the electronics and adapt them to different types of sensors.
